Members appreciate that Club’s elegant setting is ideal for celebrating, weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, anniversary parties big and small. The Club's chef, service staff and elegant dining rooms create a memorable experience.
All special events must be hosted or sponsored by a current member or member of an affiliated club.

Weddings
Relax and smile as you welcome guests to Buffalo’s elegant Garret Club, the perfect setting for your long-anticipated wedding day. The elegant rooms of this 19th Century Buffalo mansion are an ideal backdrop for your unique event.
In the summer months, your guests may explore the club’s secluded gated gardens before the ceremony. When the weather is cooler, roaring fires in the large and intimate spaces warmly beckon guests to the Garret’s beautiful interior.
Inside or out, the Club’s architecture is an ideal backdrop for photographs. Your event “owns” the Garret for a day. And, the recognized culinary staff assists in designing your menu, from finger food to full seven course dinners.

Dining Room
The Dining Room, which is entered directly from the main foyer, is a lofty space with old world charm. It boasts a large antique stone fireplace and offers an intimate setting for dinner parties. The Dining Room opens through double French doors to the Loggia as well as to the Red Room.
Living Room
The Living Room, warm and comfortable, invites you to relax and entertain before or after dinner. You will feel at home hosting intimate cocktails in front of the marble fireplace or gathering with friends before dinner as you look out the French casement window to the garden beyond. French doors connect the Living Room to the bright, semi-outdoor Loggia.
Garret
Our signature room, The Garret is fashioned to resemble its namesake - an attic space with lofty ceilings, beautiful wood paneling, floors and beams. It is the heart of the club - the home of dances, lectures, bridge tournaments, luncheons, weddings, and lively discussions.
The Founders Room
This room located on the second floor, is a tastefully relaxed space, brightly lit by recessed windows on three sides of the room. The room is elegant and charming and is ideal for meetings, small cocktail parties or a private lunch. It features a handsome mantelpiece with a shallow inglenook; a game table, two soft seating areas and a conference table that seats twelve. The room offers a refined, cheerful atmosphere and is a favorite of members.
The Loggia
The Loggia is the jewel of The Garret Club. With floor-to-ceiling glass doors that overlook the lush lawn and gardens, each season presents a unique look to the Loggia experience. This bright room is the most desirable event room in the club. In the warmer months, the glass doors fold back, creating an indoor-outdoor space. Whether hosting a luncheon, dinner, or cocktail reception, the Loggia is breathtaking.
The Red Room
Painted in a deep red color that gives this room its name, the Red Room is rich and warm and yet its high groin-vaulted ceiling imparts an airy feel to this space. Ideal for business meetings, it may also be reserved for private-served luncheons.
Garden Courtyard
This large and private space features lush landscaping, the greenery and stucco wall will give privacy to your outdoor event. A beautiful old cherry tree that blooms in a spectacular fashion in the springtime graces the space. The manicured lawn can accommodate a large tent.
