How to join the club

Membership to the Garret is by invitation through sponsors. Individuals considering membership may contact current members of the Garret Club for introduction or contact Dennis Webber, the Club's General Manager, at 716.885.6010.

Why Join the Club?

For over a century now, the Club has been a lovely gathering place for women to enjoy each other's company and pursue interests in arts and learning. The Club is proud of its rich history and maintains a strong commitment to the Garret's tradition of adapting to change while maintaining a congenial and stimulating atmosphere for members to enjoy a diverse array of programs and social events.

Programs and Activities

The Club offers interesting talks, seminars, lectures and workshops by an impressive array of presenters. Investment and book clubs, bridge and Mah jongg, croquet and Italian conversation are just some of the activities that enhance the professional and leisure interests of Garret members.

Second Servings

Extra servings of soups and entrées from daily lunches are packaged and stored in the members’ freezer in the kitchen. Members can enjoy a home-cooked meal without cooking.

Reciprocal Privileges

The Garret has attractive reciprocal privileges with New York's Colony and Cosmopolitan Clubs, London's Sloane Club, Boston's Chilton Club, San Francisco's Metropolitan Club, Washington D.C.'s Sulgrave Club, Chicago's Women's Athletic Club, Philadelphia's Acorn Club, and Santa Barbara's Little Towne Club.  A complete list and contact information is here.
