In 1997, MaryRuth Rera bought a one-way ticket to Florence to pursue her career for authentic Italian cooking and received her culinary degree from the prestigious Scuola di Arte Culinaria Cordon Bleu.
After returning to the US, Ms. Rera was the personal chef for Ralph Lauren and his family for eight years, traveling and spending holidays with them. When Rera married, Lauren gifted her a wedding dress straight off his runway.
